The play on words highlights our belief that businesses are set apart when they don't just focus on service, but they actively try to move past service to embrace hospitality. We also believe reputation is built off past service, and harmful reviews and even worse negative word of mouth can have a ripple effect. With over 15 years in the hospitality industry, Past Service is designed for restaurants, cocktail bars, coffee shops, bakeries, hotels, and other hospitality forward businesses that are looking to grow, improve, and invest in their business. I have so many entrepreneur and industry friends, and this is the service I am the proudest to launch as we champion for the success of small businesses. Our unique approach combines consulting, on site experience (incognito), and data to give a bird's eye view of operations and service.

About Past Service

Our team evaluates various areas of focus during our visit. During our consultation call, we will discuss any areas you want to draw special attention to and several time windows to plan our visit. Areas of focus often considered include - staff and service quality, operations (seating time, ordering time, cook time), food quality, cleanliness, health inspection, issues/misconduct, substance use (primarily alcohol) on the job, IDing guests, and more.

Customer Support 

Our Services

Consulting and Planning Call. Once you have booked a package we will schedule a 30 minute call to discuss scheduling, areas of focus, concerns, and goals for our visit.

On Site Visit. One or two of our team members will visit on site, order and experience service. After their visit, they will fill out a detailed report, including numeric grading, to provide data and feedback.

Follow Up Call. Once our team has visited in person, completed their report, and briefed our internal team, we will schedule a followup call to discuss our findings, suggestions for improvement, and notes on the overall experience.

The detailed report will be shared to the client via email.

ADD - ON - we provide virtual consulting and monthly packages that include access to a personal slack channel for approved employees and management to ask questions and be included in the process.

Past Service team members are seasoned in the hospitality industry, have management experience, and have demonstrated their knowledge of best practices, elevated experiences and attention to detail. This service is provided by a small team of 4 to prioritize consistency and to stay anonymous during on site visits.

Content Creation

Are you a busy small business owner in hospitality or food & beverage looking to get a few things off your plate? Our content creation package is great for restaurants, event planner's BTS, hotels, bakeries, and more. We assist with the creative planning, and create high quality content for you to post, use, and repurpose at your convince. This may be my favorite service, melding the 7 years I have spent as a wedding photographer and videographer with my love for all things culinary and hospitality.

 Monthly Package Is $300 + Food/Drinks for Content.

Monthly 15-Minute Call. This is a great time to discuss special events, new items, and vision for the month's content. We welcome special requests!

One Content Filming Session. A Second Session can be accommodated based on availability at no additional cost.

8 Edited Reels. This does not include scheduling or copywriting. What is included: Shooting Time, Creative Planning, Editing.

 10 Edited Images. Photos are great for carousel posts, graphics, and thumbnails.

Raw Footage from your session will be delivered via Google Drive. We highly encourage you to save and repurpose content as part of your ongoing marketing strategy.

We use an iPhone 15, DJI Audio Equipment, Sony ZV-E10 II & additional Sony Gear. If you have any specific questions about gear, style, or process, please reach out via the contact form.
